Connecticut town plans food truck festival

The town of Avon, Connecticut will hold a food truck festival Friday through Sunday at 99 Thompson Road, according to a press release. The festival will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Fireworks are scheduled at 9 p.m. Saturday. The festival will include carnival rides, craft tents and live music.

Free parking and free shuttles to parking will be available.

Food trucks will include Sultan Kabob; Deb's Café; Mac Attack; Kids Food Truck; Tots, Brats & Hots; Lemonade Man; Tater Shack; Soft Serve Ice Cream; Thai Awesome; Cookie Dough Factor; and more.
