One of the newest food trucks operating in Connecticut is owned and operated by a Culinary Institute of America trained chef.
Chef John Kronfeld and fiancée Missy Miller launched The Chef Truck in early February offering classic American comfort food, from scrambled eggs with avocado to eggs with black beans and cojita cheese and salsa verde, according to the New Haven Register.
Kronfeld has worked in the food industry since his late teens, including a stint at the Bobby Flay's location at the casino Mohegan Sun. They bought the truck on Facebook last autumn and retrofitted it from inside to outside.
