Construction begins for food park in Norman, Oklahoma

The Norman, Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce broke ground Friday on the city's new food truck park, according to KFOR-TV. The lot, located at 227 W. Main St., previously housed a lumber yard and had been an eyesore for years, according to OUDaily.

The city approved the park in November after a local dentist, Gabriel Bird, designed it. The plan includes space for multiple food trucks, along with a three-story building with a dentist office.
