Denver TV station awards two "Fs" and one "A" to area food trucks

FOX31 Denver's Restaurant Report Card awarded "Fs" to two food trucks and an "A" grade to one. The report card is based on health inspections by city and county health inspectors, according to a recent broadcast.

Los Grandes received an "F" for violations found in April and July. In April, an inspector noted an employee touching food with bare hands, beef held too warm, no sanitizing solution and no soap. The inspector ordered a cease and desist due to no soap. The truck had soap delivered within 10 minutes and was back in business.

Tacos Vasquez received an "F." An inspector cited the truck for 10 critical violations in its April and January 2016 inspections. Mistakes during the first inspection included: no license; the truck used a nearby hotel for water and storage; employees were not washing hands; and the salsa was too warm. An inspector passed Tacos Vasquez one week following its regular inspection.

California Wrap Runner received an "A" for a perfect health inspection. An "A" is awarded for two inspections in a row without critical violations. California Wrap Runner is at Civic Center Eats on Tuesdays.
