Destroyed Panama City Waffle House uses food truck to serve free food

Employees of a Panama City, Florida, Waffle House that was severely damaged by Hurricane Michael served free food from a food truck Monday, according to WPTV-TV. The restaurant was so badly damaged that only the "s" remained on its exterior signage. Waffle Houses are known for staying open during natural disasters.

The company tweeted that it would give out free food until 6 p.m. on Monday.
