Downtown Street Eats returns in Detroit

Foodies in downtown Detroit will be happy to hear that Downtown Street Eats, a food truck event, is open for business.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cadillac Square and Woodward Esplanade and will run weekdays through October, according to a Detroit News report.

The daily event will feature a rotation of mobile food vendors and will also be home to events and activities. One of the newest food trucks to participate is the Belly It food truck offering rice bowls and Asian fare.
