Fatburger food truck resumes serving free meals to LA-based healthcare workers

The Fatburger Food Truck is resuming its Healthcare Heroes Initiative in which it provides free meals for healthcare workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Los Angeles-based burger chain will donate an additional 10,0000 meals, according to a press release.

At the height of the pandemic in April and May, the truck made stops at dozens of area hospitals serving up 25,000 meals.

The free meal effort comes as COVID-19cases are rising in Los Angeles and the surrounding area.
