First food truck festival comes to Westbury, New York

The first Westbury Food Truck Festival comes to NYCB Theatre at Westbury in Westbury, New York, October 7 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., according to Newsday.

Tim Crowley, NYCB Threatre spokesman, said the festival is geared toward streetwise gourmets who want a taste of the city's vibrant food truck scene, but closer to home.

Festival admission is $5, and free for kids five years old and younger. Admission includes the wine deck and an Oktoberfest booth offering bratwurst, schnitzel and beer.

Trucks include All American Wontons, Dough Me A Favor, Two Greeks To Go, Gorilla Food Trucks, Jericho Cider Mill, Fry Daddy's Gourmet Fries And Deep Fried Treats and Mr. Smith's Seafood And More.
