Florida city council nixes food vendor limit

The Bonita Springs City Council has eliminated a five-vendor limit when it comes to mobile food operations in the city .

The limit rule, enacted eight years ago, strictly regulated food vendors with giving just five permits out across the city. Permits are still required, but there is no limit on numbers, according to a Naples News report.

Trucks can't operate in residential areas and no more than two trucks can be at a permitted location, according to the news report. Permitted truck must be at least 250 feet away from another permitted location or a food truck park.
