Florida city easing food truck parking regs

The Pensacola City Council, in Pensacola, Florida is mulling a moratorium on enforcing a parking ordinance that impacts food trucks.

The parking rule prohibits selling merchandise from public parking spots, according to a Pensacola News Journal report.

Food trucks were erroneously included under the provision, according to a council member.

Several council members are hoping to tweak the city's parking ordinance to allow for food trucks with certain requirements.
