A building that has been vacant since 2013 will become an event and entertainment center featuring a bar and a food truck garden in Dade City, Florida, according to The Tampa Bay Times.
Realtor Larry Guilford is buying the historic brick building, the former home of Pasco Motors, on the west side of 7th Street and will build a three-venue event center called Highlands.
Guilford presented his plans last week during the first Discover Dade City business symposium at Pasco-Hernando State College.
The plan calls for two separate 5,000-square-foot spaces — one for special events and another for entertainment and food trucks. The buildings will each hold up to 300 people and one building will include a smaller area for gatherings of up to 100 people and a 1,200-square-foot commercial kitchen to be run by Savory Roots Catering.
