The owner of a food truck that gave free food to hurricane victims in Green Cove Springs, Florida was told to leave by police since he didn't have a permit, according to Clay Today, a news website for South Jacksonville, Florida.
Jack Roundtree drove his Triple J's BBQ truck downtown and gave residents and utility workers free food before he was told to leave.
Green Cove Springs Mayor Mitch Timberlake told Reason that if Roundtree had asked for permission, he would have been granted it. The mayor also said a restaurant had complained about the food truck.
