Flour Girl & Flame opens in Milwaukee suburb

A food-trailer pizzeria now has a brick-and-mortar store in West Allis, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukee, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Flour Girl & Flame has opened at 8121 W. National Avenue for carryout only.

The pizzeria is owned by Dana Spandet and is open Wednesday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Dine in could be added in the future. Morgan Lopez serves as the executive chef.

The pizzeria features local ingredients and desserts.

"We have just a really amazing team of excited and enthusiastic people, so this is a really great way to kind of keep the momentum with the existing team that we have," Spandet told the news outlet. "I think people have been pretty excited about our pizza so far, so we're beyond excited to be able to offer that five days a week consistently."
