Food alley coming to downtown Chattanooga

A food truck alley will be up and running in downtown Chattanooga come the start of the new year.

Karol Brighany is opening the food truck spot at the corner of Market and 5th, according to a Chattanooga Times Free report.

The park will be home to about six trucks and the idea came from a cross-country trip Brighany took with her husband.

"Food trucks have such a great variety and vibe and we saw a lot of great places where they all worked together and really built a community," Brighany told the news outlet. "We sat on the idea for a couple of years and after we had our second daughter, I decided to go for it and try to make it happen in Chattanooga."
