Food court in California shopping mall to feature food trucks

An open-air food court will host food trucks and shipping containers outside the Glendale Galleria, a shopping mall in Glendale, California, according to a Glendale News Press report. The city council recently approved a design for the Urban Space Food Park, a 2,000-square-foot space at 145 South Central Ave.

The food court has been designed by Urban Space, which has developed similar concepts in other cities, in partnership with the shopping mall.

The food court is slated to open in November and will include five permanent food trucks and 10 prefabricated shipping containers.
