Food truck and brewery contest comes to Salt Lake City

The first Food Truck and Brewery Battle will be held from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday at The Gateway's Olympic Plaza on Rio Grande Street between 100 South and 50 North in Salt Lake City, Utah, according to The Salt Lake Tribune.

The free event will feature live entertainment. 

The contest kicks off the Salt Awards, The Salt Lake Tribune's annual celebration of community favorites. Nominations close Thursday and voting will start Saturday at tribsalt.com.
