Food truck catches fire amid excessive heat in Iowa

Firefighters extinguished a fire on a food truck at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Sioux City, Iowa, amidst temperatures that reached 110 degrees Friday afternoon, according to a Sioux City Journal report.

Sioux City Fire Rescue Lt. D.J. Wynn did not comment on the cause of the fire, but said firefighters had to wear heavy gear that was uncomfortable and which makes the heat worse for fire crews.
