Food truck 'challenge' planned for Cleveland suburb

The fifth annual Crocker Park Food Truck Challenge will be held 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, on South Main Street at 189 Crocker Park Blvd. in Westlake, Ohio, a Cleveland suburb, according to the event's website. Admission is free.

An awards ceremony at 3 p.m. will honor trucks that win the vote of fans in the following categories: best overall, best looking truck and best/friendliest truck. Celebrity judges will vote on the following categories: best on a bun; best in a wrap; best on a plate; best veggie; happiest ending; best through a straw; and best overall.

Food tucks will include: Smooth Rider Smoothies; Sweet! The Mobile Cupcakery; Off the Griddle; Krav Food Truck; Smash Time Food Truck; Flamingo Jack's Food Truck; PastaTivo; Hatfield's Goode Grub; Hatfields Sweet Tooth; Bearden's Rocky River; Swat Food Truck; Cookery Food Truck; Wrap it Up; Smokin' Rock n' Roll; Smoke N Rock N Roll On Ice; River Dog Cafe Food Truck; Wild Spork; The Little Piggy; Kona Ice; Dang Good Foods CLE Cookie Dough Co.; The Local Eden Food Truck; Donut Lab; Mo Bite Products; and Taste of Nawln's.
