Food Truck Cinema program begins this Saturday in Concord, California

Food Truck Cinema begins this weekend, bringing food, live music and Indiana Jones to Diablo Creek Golf Course in Concord, California for the first of three summer events, according to The East Bay Times.

The event begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at 4050 Port Chicago Highway. Tickets to watch "Raiders of the Lost Ark" on a 40-foot screen are available online. 

Preferred seating is $13 for adults and $6 for children; general admission is $10 and $5, respectively.

Food trucks Adorubowl, Canasta Kitchen, Opie's G.S.B, and Lexie's Frozen Custard will be at the event, which also will offer craft beer on tap and a wine bar.

Food Truck Cinema worked with the city's parks and recreation department to plan the film series.

Organizers also worked with Concord VIBE, which promotes the city to young professionals by showcasing its global cuisine, craft beer scene, recreational amenities and startup culture.
