A food truck court called 4th Street Eats is coming to Salem, Virginia in the near future. Owner John Jonston aims to have eight to 10 trucks in rotation in the food truck court, according to a report by WSLS.

The owner expects construction to begin within two months and for it to open about a month later. There are already food trucks at the site, including Countryman Jamaican Grill.

"I get excited because I look at the food trucks as a lot of these inspiring entrepreneurs where if they have a concept that really begins to blossom, take off, has a following and they say 'hey we want to move more brick and mortar' ... hopefully they'll get a little more comfortable with the city of Salem and we'll be able to have them land right here in the community," Tommy Miller, director of economic development, Salem, said in the report.
