Court Louie, a newly opened food truck court in a building at 4001 Utah Street where guests can place orders for four different food trucks, marks St. Louis' first food truck court, according to the Riverfront Times. The food court was introduced by Paul Listenberger, who owns the Steak Louie food truck.
Listenberger has been using the building as a commissary for his food truck. Three other trucks, Farmtruk, Go Gyro Go! and Locoz Taco, have also been using the commissary.
After placing an order, customers then proceed to a table in the court and wait for their food to be delivered. All the cooking is done on the trucks parked outside the building, meaning guests have a food truck experience with the comfort and climate predictability of inside dining.
Court Louie is open on Fridays from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Listenberger is hoping to secure a liquor license.
