The last Food Truck Friday event of the year today in Suwanee, Georgia will give students a chance to apply leadership skills, according to the Gwinnett Daily Post.
Today's event, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Suwanee Town Center Park, was organized by the Suwanee Youth Leaders, a leadership program for sophomore and junior high school students. It's the fourth year the group has helped organize a Food Truck Friday.
The students will accept donations during the event for recovery efforts for hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
Around 60 teens participate in the program which is open to students who live in the North Gwinnett, Peachtree Ridge and Collins Hill clusters.
