Food truck event planned in California town

Food Truck Mash-Up will be held from 1:30 to 9 p.m., March 16, at Town Square Park, 68-700 Avenue Lalo Guerrero in Cathedral City, California, according to Desert Sun. Early admission paid online for $20 will allow entry at noon while general admission is $5 and military, veterans, first responders and children under five years old are admitted for free. General admission at the gate is $8.

Trucks will be competing for the title of Best Food Truck 2019.

New to this year's event are Baby's Badass Burgers, Burger Monster, Made in Brooklyn Pizza, Mess Hall Canteen, Me So Hungry and Middle Feast. Trucks making a repeat visit include After's Ice Cream, Belly Bombz and Cousins Main Lobster.

Guests who vote for Best Food Truck 2019 locally will automatically be entered to win a gift card at the event. Another onsite giveaway will allow patrons to enter to win $20 in "mash-up cash" every hour.
