Food truck event planned in Louisville

Food Truck Mash-Up will be held in Louisville 1:30-7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, at 501 River Road, according to a Courier Journal report. The outdoor event will be held at the Purple parking lot under the new Abraham Lincoln Bridge. 

Attendees will vote on their favorite truck and those who vote will have a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card.

General admission tickets are available through July 31, allowing buy-one-get-one-free for $2.50. Tickets can be bought online at www.foodtruckmashup.com. After July 31, general admission is $5 online and $8 at the gate.  

Children under 5 are admitted free, while military and first responders with a valid ID are admitted free for up to four people.

Early admission at noon is available online for persons 15 years and older for $15, which includes a $5 voucher for any food truck purchase. Early access is $20 after July 31.
