Food truck event supports United Way program

A Food Truck Frenzy event in Bowling Green, Kentucky this week will benefit the Feed The Need program run by United Way.

Five food trucks will be involved in the event running from Oct. 10 through Oct. 14, according to a WBKO report.

A portion of the proceeds for each food truck purchase will be donated toward the United Way program which was developed 13 years ago as a way to help feed the needy.

Food trucks include South Cow, Lady Bugs, Hog Wild BB, Kentacos and Piggy Market Express.

A portion of each purchase will support families in need.

"The giving hearts of our water professionals reach new heights with the first annual Warren Water Food Truck Frenzy to support United Way. We encourage the community to mark your calendar and join our efforts by grabbing lunch," General Manager Jacob Cuarta told the news outlet.
