Food truck event supports worthy cause

The Savor Solomons food truck event taking place March 25 in southern Maryland will support a community tradition.

The food truck get together will feature over a dozen food trucks, vendors and local businesses and all fees will support both a July 4th celebration and community needs, according to a report at The Southern Maryland Chronicle.

"We're thrilled to be hosting this event in support of the Solomons July 4th Fireworks," Donna House, the event chair, told the news outlet. "It's going to be an incredible day of food, drink, music and community spirit."

The event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Tiki Bar, No Thyme To Cook and Calvert Marine Museum.
