Food truck fest coming to Newtown, Pennsylvania

Plans are in the works for the first-ever Newtown Food Truck Fest, which will be held Father's Day — Sunday, June 18 at Council Rock North High School in Newton, Pennsylvania, according to the Newtown Patch. Organizers say there will be a "wide variety" of food trucks serving up delicious fare at the first-ever event.
The Newtown Food Truck Fest, which will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., is a fundraiser for the non-profit Newtown Theatre. So far, there are 10 confirmed food trucks attending. They are:
- Blend Life: Smoothies, hummus, grilled sandwiches and more
- Cow and the Curd: Beer-battered Wisconsin cheese curds
- Dump-n-Roll: Dumplings and spring rolls
- Foolish Waffles: Made-to-order sweet and savory waffles
- Good Food = Good Mood: Burgers, fries, truffle chips and more
- Nina’s Waffles and Ice Cream
- Nomad Pizza: Fresh, local and organic wood-fired pizza
- Phyllodelphia: Traditional Greek and Mediterranean food
- Pie Stand: Pan-fried “handpies” stuffed with a variety of fillings
- Sweet Box: Unique cupcakes and desserts
