The Naugatuck, Connecticut, police union will host its annual Food Truck Festival from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Aug. 18 and 19, at the Naugatuck Event Center, 6 Rubber Ave., according to the Naugatuck Patch.
The fundraiser supports the Naugatuck Youth Services "Back to School Block Party," which provides school supplies for underprivileged children. Admission is free and there will be live music, kids activities, and alcoholic beverages by Bumski's.
Food trucks will include American Fries; Avid Concessions LLC — Italian Ice; The Chowder Spot; The Empanada Sonata; Jim's Ice Cream; Mexican Grill; Pierogies on Wheels; Salsa Fresca; Sherman's Taphouse/Taphouse Truck; Sultan Kebab; Sweet Harvest; Ted's Steamed Cheeseburgers; Weenie Lynn's; and more to be announced.
