Food truck festival returning to Kansas

The Kansas Food Truck Festival is returning to Lawrence, Kansas this year.

The event supports a local food bank, Just Food, and features global cuisine, live music and will include an art market, according to a report at The Lawrence Times.

The event, taking place on Saturday, May 7, will include many regional food trucks and be double the size than in the past, according to Ryan Bowersox, outreach and marketing director for the food bank.

The event will be from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Warehouse Arts District. Tickets are $15 for those 13 and older.
