Food truck festival to return to Connecticut town

The Fairfield Food Truck Festival will be held from noon to 6 p.m., Sept. 30, at Jennings Beach, 880 S. Benson Road in Fairfield, Connecticut, according to the Fairfield Patch. Proceeds will benefit the Fairfield Public Library. Admission is $5 per person; children 12 and under are admitted for free. Free parking is available at the beach. 

Last year, more than 4,000 attended the inaugural festival, which enabled the Friends of Fairfield Public Library to fund a $17,000 upgrade to the library's mobile computer lab, according to Margo Kaminsky, president of the organization.
