Food truck Friday event is a partnership affair

A local theater in Fort Wayne, Indiana is striving to help food truck operators and also expand career opportunities for its staff.

GiGi's Playhouse is partnering with local food trucks on a weekly Food Truck Friday event, held at 6081 North Clinton St. from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., that kicked off in May, according to a WANE report.

"We're getting all the local food trucks involved, getting our ambassadors just more job training opportunities hoping that one day they can go out into the community and get a job on their own," Teya Lahr, manager of GiGi's Playhouse, told the news outlet
