Food Truck Friday launches in Charlotte on May 5

Dilworth's first Food Truck Friday kicks off May 5 in the empty lot on the corner of Scott Avenue and East Boulevard in Charlotte, North Carolina, according to the event's Facebook page.

The weekly food truck rally takes place from 6 to 10 p.m. through the spring, summer and fall, rain or shine. Parking is available on site.

Boone's BBQ, Tin Kitchen and Kabobsters are among the participating food trucks.
