Food Truck Fridays returns to Balboa Park in San Diego

Food Truck Fridays returns to San Diego's Balboa Park for the second year, bringing more than a dozen food trucks to the El Prado and Plaza de Panama walkway every Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., according to NBC 7. The weekly event starts this Friday and runs through Sept. 29. The trucks rotate weekly.

The opening night lineup includes: Frankfurt; Two for the Road; Devilicious; Sicilian Breeze; Born in Brooklyn; Tacos La Mezcla; Mastiff Sausage; Seoul Man; Marcel Belgium Waffles; Taber BBQ; Currywurst; Super Q; New Orleans Cuisine & Catering; and Lil' Miss Shortcakes.

The program is a joint effort of the Balboa Park Conservancy and the City of San Diego Park and Recreation Department.
