Food Truck Fridays returns to Texas town

Food Truck Fridays will return to Longview, Texas, next month, one block from its original downtown location, according to the Longview News-Journal.

Food Truck Fridays, sponsored by the News-Journal and Texas Bank and Trust, will run April 13, May 11 and June 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Heritage Plaza.

The events began last fall on Methvin Street in front of the News-Journal. The move to Heritage Plaza makes street closures unnecessary.

Each of the events will host five to six food trucks.
