A Buffalo, New York-based taco truck found itself in the middle of political battle when it served Immigration and Customs Enforcement workers at a detention center, according to a Washington Examiner report.
Pete Cimino, co-founder of the truck Lloyd Taco, apologized after receiving criticism from ICE opponents, only to face criticism from more than 4,000 who held the opposing view on Twitter and Facebook.
The company apologized a second time to those who objected to the first apology, some of whom had canceled the truck's service. A company official said they intended to serve everyone at the detention center, not just ICE employees.
