Food truck festival planned in Long Island, New York

The Food Truck Festival at the NEFCU Long Island Marathon will run from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday in East Meadow, New York, according to Newsday. The 26.2-mile course for the Sunday race on Sunday will begin and end at Eisenhower Parkway.

About 15 vendors are expected at the Food Truck Festival. Trucks signed to date include NY Strip, Crepes & Bakes, Mama's Cuban Kitchen, Tasty Taxi, Big Black Food Truck, Green Street Food Truck, Belle's Smoke House, Cheezy Pete's and Uncle Gussys.
