Food truck marketplace slated for Berkeley, California

Developer NX Ventures plans to create a food truck marketplace, called "Route 123," for food trucks to congregate at 2613 San Pablo Ave. in Berkeley, California, according to The Daily Californian. The venue is named after the official name of the state road, San Pablo Avenue.

Xin Lin, a principal at NX Ventures which will co-manage the project, said some food options at the venue will include barbecue, tacos, Filipino fusion and pizza.

The food truck marketplace will replace KC's Bar-B-Que, which closed due to a fire on Feb. 17, 2017 that severely damaged much of the restaurant, according to Kristen Davis, who owned the establishment. The restaurant will move to 1235 San Pablo Ave.
