Food truck park in progress for Oklahoma site

There's a food truck park coming to Claremore, Oklahoma now that the operator, Jason Enyart, has been given needed entitlements by the city's Board of Adjustments.

The park, which will be called The Food Truck Park, will be housed on land at Highway 66 and Blue Starr Drive, according to a report at the Claremore Daily Progress.

"We had seen these in larger cities like Dallas and things like that and people really enjoyed them," Enyart told the news outlet. "So, we figured why not Claremore, Oklahoma? Everyone loves a food truck so why not just have them all at the same place?"

Several food trucks have already expressed interest and Enyart aims to create a rotation schedule. The next step is for Enyart to provide civil plans for review and then a permit process will follow.

The goal is to be up and running by the end of May.
