There's a new food truck spot in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

A vacant lot at the beach's landing park is now a welcoming place for lunchtime food trucks, according to a WKRG 5 report.

The food truck park is the brainchild of the Downtown Fort Walton Beach group, a non-profit that is leasing the site on a monthly basis with the goal to bring more residents to the community.

"Food trucks have been the rage. You know we have them out to the farmers market pretty consistently and we've noticed having a food truck tripled our foot traffic," Ashley Sukalski, events coordinator, told the news outlet. "There aren't that many places open for lunch downtown and it will bring in more foot traffic for people that can't go to the big things on the weekends and see their favorite food truck."

For a monthly fee of $45 food trucks can serve three times a week and need to be gone by 4 p.m.
