Food truck park may be coming to East St Louis

A food truck park is in the works for East St. Louis, in Illinois, and will house at least a half dozen trucks.
The park will also be home to a stage for entertainment, according to a Belleville News-Democrat report.
The park is the brainchild of local resident Thomas Brown who has a vision to provide a place where residents can "all just come and eat, chill… support our own businesses, support our own people, just a place where we can enjoy each other in our city," according to the news report. He hopes to include room for six local businesses.
A Facebook page offers a video of the proposed park in the downtown area. The effort is estimated to cost $100,000, and a GoFundMe page has been set up to support the project.
