Food truck park opens in Ferndale, Michigan

A new food truck park opens today at 5 p.m. in Ferndale, Michigan called Detroit Fleat at 1820 E. Nine Mile, according to The Detroit Metro Times.

Three food trucks, including Pita Post, Mac Shack and Deletabow, join a Mexican street food and sliders restaurant with a full bar that also serves Treat Dreams' ice cream. Drifter Coffee and rotating trucks will park in the fourth slot. 

Each truck will have a permanent trailer onsite, meaning they can also go to other events. There will be picnic tables with umbrellas and indoor seating for more than 100 guests.

After today, park hours are 11 a.m.-midnight Tuesday through Thursday; 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Friday; 10 a.m.-2 a.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m.-midnight Sunday. The park will be closed Mondays.
