Food truck park opens in Texas town

A food truck park has opened in Denison, Texas, a few months after the city approved it, according to KXII-TV. The lot, located off Rusk and Crawford, is owned by Kevin Hempkins, who said it will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., weather permitting.

Hempkins said he hopes to have six food trucks. He also hopes to have bands and special events.

Patrons can bring alcohol since the lot is located on private property.
