Food truck park owners have big plans for Wichita site

A newly-launched food truck park in Wichita, Kansas may also become the site of a food hall and commercial kitchen space.

The Delano Food Truck Park, which opened last week, is just the start of a mobile food enterprise owned and run by Steven Santana and a few partners, according to Kansas.com.

Santana owns the Little Saigon Vietnamese restaurant and hasn't given up that day job, but he's been very busy launching the park and working on additional plans for the site which houses a 17,000-square-foot church that he hopes to transform into a food hall.

"We want to provide an opportunity for the smaller guys to have a consistent space," Santana told the news outlet.
