Food truck park planned for Florida town

A group of investors plans to develop a food truck park on a 1-acre parcel at the northwest corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Parker Street as part of the Mass Market complex in Lakeland, Florida, according to The Ledger. 

Investors include Matt Patrick of Boulder, Colorado, co-founder of a food truck park in that city, and Jennifer and Joel Batts of Lakeland.

Approximately half of the proposed parcel will provide parking while the remaining space will be transformed into a park with an indoor facility of up to 2,600 square feet. A building that previously served as a used car lot office space will be razed.
