Food truck park to open in St. Augustine Beach, Florida

The Village Garden Food Park in St. Augustine Beach, Florida, will open Saturday at 1480 SR A1A where the road forks toward A1A Beach. A sneak peek event for members of the local Facebook foodie group, Auggie's Fresh or Frightening Food Reviews, will be held from 5–9 p.m. Friday, according to the St. Augustine Record.

The park will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week and will host four permanent mobile food vendors — Funkadelic, New York Beach Bagel, Pele's Fire Grill, Schnecks' Big Island Bowls — and an on-site coffee shop.

The park provides parking and outdoor seating space for customers, in addition to water and power hookups for trucks. The site is approved for up to eight hookups and will feature at least two guest food trucks on weekends.
