Food truck park to open this month in St. Paul, Minnesota

Seventh Street Park, a food truck park under construction near downtown St. Paul, Minnesota, will open later this month, according to The St Paul/Minneapolis Business Journal.

The park will have several stationary food trucks and bars, and is targeting a August 21 opening, according to Brain Ingram, the chief operating officer at New Bohemia Wurst & Bier Haus. The truck park is next door to the restaurant.

The park will have food truck concepts in hollowed out classic vehicles like a 1970's Terry Travel Trailer. There will also be trucks and shipping containers built into bars.

The park will have garage doors along 7th St. W. Inside, there will also be carnival-style games and old fashioned movies played on projector screens.

Ingram said he sees the concept growing into a dozen locations across the country within the next three to four years.
