Food truck pod opens in Bellevue, Washington

The Washington State Food Truck Association has teamed with the Bellevue Red Lion to offer a food truck pod to bring more food truck lunches downtown, starting today, March 1, according to the Bellevue Reporter.

The pod is located at the northwest corner of the Downtown Red Lion parking lot at 11211 Main St., adjacent to the new East Main Station Sound Transit Center construction site. 

The pod will be in service weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Trucks wishing to participate must have a Bellevue city business license, a King County Health Department annual food permit, a certificate of insurance and must agree to the association's terms and conditions.

Participating trucks and their menus will be posted on the Best Food Trucks website at www.bestfoodtrucks.com/lots/profile/867.
