Dayton, Ohio will be home to a series of food truck rallies taking place starting this spring and running through the fall months.
The food trucks will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner options during specific time frames. The events are being called Hunger Days Food Truck Rallies and organized by a company called Cloudy Days Cotton Candy, according to a Dayton.com report. Rallies will be held Thursdays, from April 6 to Oct. 26.
"I really want this to be a long-term thing for the community," Ronald Jackson, who owns Cloud Days Cotton Candy with his brother, Tra'shawn, and daughter, Arre'll, told the news outlet. "I want the community to come out and enjoy themselves."
"The food truck industry is a lot deeper than selling food. It's a connection. It's a relationship," Jackson told Dayton.com. "We want people to understand we are trying to build relationships with the community and neighboring areas."
