Food truck returns to Albuquerque following shooting

Las Chanclitas Food Truck has returned to downtown Albuquerque following a shooting which left owner Alex Rodriguez's mother injured. In an incident, a bullet flew through the truck and struck her in the rib, according to a report by KOB 4.

A suspect, Ambrosia Mirabal, was later arrested. She admitted to drinking and taking drugs before firing a gun to frighten her boyfriend.

"She still has to work because she has bills to pay," Rodriguez said regarding his mother in the report. "Every time she gets checked at the doctor, it's a big bill."

Rodriguez said that shootings are common in the area, and he wants to get the truck on Central Avenue in a more well-lit area.
