Food Truck Sunday comes to Milwaukee

Food Truck Sunday comes to South Milwaukee's downtown Market Square from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 15, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The Rotary Club of Mitchell Field organized the event, and proceeds from beverage sales will support Rotary grants for nonprofit groups and college scholarships.

Trucks scheduled to attend include Bebe's Bistro, Denson's Catering, Jamaican Kitchen and Grill, Little Havana Express, Olana's Empanadas, Yellowbellies, Cousins Subs, Cupcake-A-Rhee, Firewise Barbecue, La Guacamaya, Marco Pollo, Pineapple Mexican Grill, Punjabi Accent, the Fatty Patty and the Rolling Cones. 

The first 300 attendees who donate two nonperishable food items or $1 at the Rotary beverage tent will get a coupon for a free ice cream cone or cookies at participating McDonald's restaurants.
